How to Join The Von Drake Society:

Just note this place (or comment on this page) and say you'd like to join. Easy as ! Afterwards, please display this icon on your journal: :icon + TheVonDrakeSociety: (be sure to leave the "+" sign
out!).

Rules for conduct:

Just be nice. Respect your fellow members and don't flame them or do anything else that's not cool.

General Business:

1. Please read the rules for submitting items (below)before submitting any art or writing---also, make sure your submission has been accepted before you designate it as Society material.

Rules for submitting items:

1. You may note this club and ask if your deviation may be used (if I haven’t already asked first) , then link it to me in the note. If you’d prefer I link it back to you instead of putting it in the Gallery, be sure to let me know.

2. Anything to do with Ludwig von Drake (somehow or other) can be submitted, even if another character is included. It doesn’t have to be exclusively Disney---crossovers are ok, just as long as Von Drake is the principal character.

3. In order to preserve the integrity and innocence of this beloved character from my childhood, I'm asking that all submissions of any
kind be G to PG rated (this includes language). Absolutely NO porn, slash, yaoi, hentai, or anything of a similar nature will be accepted. Also rejected will be anything of an occult or racist nature. (In other words, don't even THINK of drawing Ludwig with a swastika. )

Note: If in doubt about anything you're submitting, please ask first. Even if I say "no way", I'll re-consider if enough changes are
made.

4. Any form of art/writing is suitable---if you want to submit poetry, digital art or pop art, this is perfectly fine.

5. Please be patient about submissions, comments, etc. since the club owner has a heck of a lot of stuff to juggle around. If I forget you for any reason, just note me a gentle reminder.

Faving/Commenting Our Gallery Items:

Favourites/Comments Rules:

1. Please, please, PLEASE read the descriptions of the
items featured in our Gallery to make sure commenting or faving
is allowed. If you are asked to go to the original deviant's page to
do this, please do so.

2. If you fave an item in the Gallery that isn't supposed to be
faved there, you will be noted and asked very nicely to remove
the item from your Favourites list and fave it at the original
deviants' page. If the item is not removed after some time,
it will be deleted and re-submitted.

3. Sometimes there are exceptions. If an item has
been created especially for the Society (or at least half
for the Society), you may be allowed to fave or comment
at the club page. But read the description first to make sure! If
it was submitted by a club member, it's still best to visit the
member's page to give them the credit they deserve.
