(Just a slight update regarding the deadline.)

Here’s a new goodie, suggested by , Grand Prize winner of the Ludwig von Drake Business Card competiton:

The Von Drake Society “Ludwig and Matilda” Art Contest!

Objective:

Create a fanart based on, or inspired by, the fanfic Ludwig and Matilda: A Love Story [link] The story’s still in progress (I’m still working on
Chpt. 6 even as we speak, with about 4 or 5 chapters to go),
but definitely open to fanart.

It can be an actual scene from the story proper, or just something inspired by the story (I know there are a lot of great minds and talents out there, so I’m positive you’ll come up with something fantastic! )

Media Requirements:

Any medium , i.e.. b & w, color, digital, traditional, etc.
is fine.

Rules:

No specific rules, except please keep it G-rated. (You
can show Ludwig and Matilda on their honeymoon, just keep their clothes on and don’t actually show them…uh, honeymooning. )

Contest starts: Now.

Contest ends: Midnight (PDT), April 8.

Voting starts: After midnight, April 8.

Voting ends: April 13.

(Note: Dates are subject to change.)

Grand Prize---

A color fanart of choice by and winner decides the next contest.

First Prize:

Color fanart of choice by (that would be me ).

Second Prize:

Black and white fanart by .

Third prizes and Honorable Mentions:

A stamp honoring you!

Note on prizes: Because of financial difficulties at this
time, I can no longer snail-mail original artwork. Please supply postage if you wish to have your art mailed to you. (This does
not apply to items from the VDS ID Contest, which will be mailed
as soon as possible.)
